Abstract

Slope movements negatively influence the quality of the environment in Slovakia. This work is oriented on the regime observations of the Veľká Mara landslide. The fieldwork was realized in the span of one year. The aim of our study was to extend monitoring methods of the slope deformation on the measurement of selected physical parameters of groundwater (electric conductivity and temperature). We focused mainly on the definition of the communication among particular observed objects, and identified partial geological structures within the slope deformation.

Key words: Liptovská Mara landslide, monitoring, groundwater, electric conductivity, temperature
